Good Morning Ginger Lemon Detox Tea

Soothing, alkalizing, and energizing with zero caffeine.

This ginger tea has been my new morning ritual and I have been taking it first thing in the morning for a few weeks. I've noticed changes in my digestion and energy level throughout the day :) 

If I'm in a rush in the morning, I like to make this recipe in my FusionBottle by @glowfitlife and bring it with me on the go. It fits perfectly in my handbag 💖

✖️Benefits of this tea: 

🌼Lemons are a good source of vitamin C and a powerhouse of antioxidants.

🌼Ginger root is anti-inflammatory, it also helps ease gas and bloating as well as detox. Power up throughout the day with a cup of this simple, flavorful, and healing tea.

🌼Goji berries are rich in antioxidants and are known for liver detox in Chinese medicine.


  • 1 3/4 cups boiling water
  • 2.5 cm fresh ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced
  • juice of half of a large lemon
  • handful of goji berries (optional)


Heat water to boiling. Place the ginger root and optional goji berries into your favorite cup. (I like to use my go-to infuser bottle by GlowFitLife and attach the top part of the infuser to the bottle. It keeps all the herbs inside the bottle while drinking!) Pour water into your cup/infuser bottle and let set for a few minutes. Squeeze lemon juice in and enjoy!
